Robotics engineers research, design, develop, or test robotic applications.
Robotics engineers evaluate designs or specifications to ensure quality, interpret design or operational test results, program robotics equipment, design electromechanical equipment and systems and test performance of electrical, electronics, mechanical or integrated systems or equipment.
To work as a robotics engineer, an individual will first need to earn a bachelor's degree, typically in robotics engineering. Courses in robotics mostly include numerically controlled systems, general training in pneumatics and hydraulics, CADD/CAM systems, integrated systems, logic, and microprocessors.

Although responsibilities in specific roles are varied, there are several relevant skills all robotics engineers should know.
